Beyond Āsana

A 22-Hour Yoga Studies Immersion

Many practitioners spend years attending regular classes without ever having the opportunity to explore the philosophy, anatomy, individual adaptations and deeper questions that shape the practice.

After years of teaching weekly classes and leading retreats, I realized that many dedicated practitioners were looking for more than another workshop, but weren't looking to commit to a full teacher training.

Beyond Āsana is a five-part immersion for dedicated yoga practitioners who wish to deepen their understanding of yoga beyond the physical practice.

This is not a teacher training.

It is an opportunity to slow down, dive deep, ask questions, investigate, and deepen your relationship with yoga in a supportive group setting.

Whether you have been practicing for two years or twenty, this immersion is designed for curious practitioners who want to better understand what happens on the mat and why.

Throughout the immersion, we will explore yoga through:

• Focused practice sessions
• Yoga philosophy and textual study
• Āsana labs and movement exploration
• Anatomy and alignment
• Prāṇāyāma and meditation
• Discussion and inquiry
• Self-study and reflection between modules

Together, these different approaches offer a richer understanding of yoga and how it can support us both on and off the mat.

Applications are now open.

Limited to 14 participants.
